Woohoo! I have finally been given the all clear by my surgeon - it’s taken almost a year but he has judged my knee to be finally healed enough that I can play all the sports/snowboard that I want to my hearts content. Today is a good day and couldn’t have come soon enough as we are off to the snow tomorrow

He actually noted that left quad is now larger than the right. I think that this is as a result of just doing a lot more training on that leg than on the other. I’ll have to concentrate on the right leg now to bring it into proportion for strength.

Heading to the snow this weekend - hopefully we have some good weather (last weekend apparently it was raining/drizzling the entire time). Looks like it is fantastic base (for Australia) so I should be able to fall over and not hurt myself as much. I pushed forward my final appointment with my orthopedic surgeon to see if he will give me the all clear to snowboard again - but even if I can’t it’s a good weekend to be out of Sydney!
